Thanks for that article, Elicia, that is alarming! I was just reading an article about John Friede donating his collection, in the Summer 2004 issue of "Art Tribal". Check out these pics from his home: No wonder the wealth of Oceanic art at the De Young came as such a surprise to all of us: It was placed there so recently! It would be a bummer if it would not last there...
