We drove down today for our annual round of putting among the tikis, only to find a bakery and a crappy sandwich shop occupying the corner where once stood many carved tikis and a small smoking volcano. Property values in Avalon are quite high, so I guess the owners of the golf must have gotten an offer they couldn't refuse. Their gain is our loss... My son says, "The Horror!!!!!!"
