Wow! I dunno whether to call you Johnny Lowball or Jon Charisma. Congrats!

hang10tiki I would never have even thought to go that low. Good job. It is amazing it survived, leaves are brittle. Was the seller a woman?

We went tiki hunting in Loomis, California.

Dan found two things, one is pretty special.

The lady said that a world traveler who died 20 years ago brought this back from Tahiti. She said it originally had a key to the ladies room at the hotel.

She talked them into selling it to her but the hotel kept the key. It even has the name of the person who made it. We, P. Nino. We believe it is stone due to it's weight but in reality it must be a dense plastic.

Have any of you seen one of these before?

Wendy

I have one identical to it. I got it so long ago that I can't remember where, when, how, or who (if me or my dad found it)... big help I am..lol

Great find Wendy! Here is one from my collection

Hey Guys, hang10tiki just found this post.

I'd never seen one of these and now they are popping up all over the place. There should be a whole hotels worth somewhere!

Thanks for commenting and for the photos. Wendy

Merry Christmas to me!

H

Christmas gifts from friends and family, a few tiki gifts and a few Disney gifts.

See the little tiki shot glass on its side here

Trav- Bon appetit :)
Hilt- Merry Xmas :)

Found a Coco Joe's Hapa Wood Lono figure at the antique mall in Maumee, OH. Unfortunately, it looks like he's developed a back problem at some point over the years. He looms over me from the shelf above my desk rather effectively, but I'm still wondering if there's a way to straighten him out without damaging the rest of the figure...

Ah! Thank you. Glad to see this isn't the only example of "Leaning Lono Syndrome" out there.

Happy to get these... six Don the Beachcomber glasses!

Very nice TC. I have one which I don’t use cause it’s a real treasure to me and I would be miserable if I broke it.
Congrats

Did I...just find this at Value Village for $4.99...after seeing two at an antique mall yesterday for $75.00 +?

Hawaii blue tiki vase

Bamboo green shot

4 LPs

A couple Value Village finds today...

A Lono mask amidst the standard faux-African fare.

And another record for the collection.

My brother lives in Reno and occasionally sends me mugs he finds in the local thrifts.
These two are fairly common up there-not so much in SoCal.

Unfortunately it gets pretty warm here so I need to keep the cars inside.
But I like the way you think.

This is a story that will circulate for years....do you know how much hang10tiki paid for a Frankoma War God?
Looks like treasure hunting still pays off. We will come visit it one day. Wendy

$25 is a sweet deal! This may beat that story though

Haven't posted much lately. Here's some of the stuff I've accumulated over the past months.

TraderJames what was the last bid??? That's the best of all the War Gods. Wendy

Wendy, that was the one and only bid. It was a Buy It Now listing. Same seller also sold a Club Trade Winds T4 Widow Maker on the cheap.

Hey Big K,
Got a story to go with the Moai? They are cool!
Mahalo

They're S&Ps. Bought them on a Vegas road trip with Polynesian Pop & Bora Boris!

Comes in a non-jewel eyed version too
Unless they just fell off
