You're not smokin', but your work still is. Wacka wacka wacka. Nice jorb.

The grain is awesome! It reminds me when I have powerwashed too close to the deck and the grain pops up like that. It looks fantasitic How do you do that?

He uses a wire brush. Right Ken? :D heheh

Always a pleasure to see an update from you Ken!

Very nice work!

K

Thanks Pablus and pjc. Hey Pablus got me a old school early 30s Lyon Healy uke a while back its a blast to play always brings me back to the Hurricane Hukilau days :)

K

Yay!!!!! its been a while but here is the second Munktiki/Ken Pleasant tiki mug this has been in the works since 2010 and will be available soon. With the permission!!! of William Westenhaver my grandfather in law this is my take on a Witco God of fortune tiki, there were many different styles of the fortune god and this is a collaboration of them all. I carved a god of fortune sent it to Miles at Munktiki and he did an amazing job of sculpting and creating the new mug he is a true artist. I am proud to be carrying on carving the tradition and hope to have many more mugs and carving's in the future.

you suck for making more awesome things i cannot afford !!!

I love it- nice work, ken

....but now it's time for you to focus on making more of your "recession tikis " for us poor folk.....

Nice one Ken!! LIKE

T

Very Clean,, LOve the lines.

Beautiful work Ken!

T

Do you know, how much it will cost? Will it be affordable for the mere mortals? I would love to have something in "Witco"-Style some day. It is nearly impossible to find here in Germany. No, it is totally impossible. "Witco" was an american phenomenon which did not swash across the big pond. So it is always a great pleasure for me to see stuff from you.

As Tipsy McStagger said: make some new recession tikis.

K

Thanks for the compliments. Price of the mugs will be $69.00 + $10.00 S/H lower 48 states $27.95 usps priority Flate rate to Canada & Mexico $45.50 priority flate rate world wide.

Cheers Watango

Wow Kiegs, that mug is a beauty! did you carve it with a chainsaw??
