Sorry about your elephantitus,Ben...
I hope the swelling goes down
and you're back to feeling SUPER very soon!!!

I heard Squirrels are very Territorial,in fact it's said that if another squirrel invades the territory they will fight to the death!...this is said to include chewing and gnawing on the losing squirrels head and eating it's BRAIN!
Wonder what a squirrel would do for a 50 pound sack of nuts?

Oh, I don't know.

Amy, why can't you be like everybody else and have a nice, big, green lawn?
One you have to water to keep the grass from dying, since you're in a desert.

That's much nicer looking.
None of this clutter.

Yes, joking.

I am late to this thread (and really, to my detriment, I never even check this forum).

UN- F*CKING-BELIEVABLE.
Just.......can't....find....words.

Like at the Mai Kai, I would have a reeeeeally hard time leaving.
Like, drag my ass out, nails scraping in the dirt with a loud, "Noooooooooooooh!"

Congratulations on making a dream come true.
Your dream - and that of a couple of thousand tiki-lovers!

And Ben, I don't even know where to start.
Just......Thanks.

T

The place is looking good!
I wanna see some pic's when it snows.
The snow coming in where the tree cut outs are
would be cool to see while sipping a drink.

Hope to see this place in person one day.
Does the treehouse bar have a name?

C

Looking better and better oh my, wonderful project for sure!

thanks skip, Clarita.... much appreciated! The weather has made it take a bit longer,it usually doesn't rain much. today it was 36 and raining mixed with snow. As soon as the weather warms up we will finish the openings in the ceiling, I want to close most of it up but let the trees be able to move. I took a few more photos of Skip's lamps they are on all sides of the tree house, as accents, they look great! I have more Skip lights to hang, plus the sconces. I will do more when the weather is better. Skip you will need to come for the first "open tree house party"thanks again

Really really cool Amy. I had been lurking waiting for some more pictures, so thanks for posting them. I love the pirate touches. The bedrooms look really inviting too. I especially like the natural branches around the windows, you have people comforts surrounded by nature at its best.

Happiest 2010 New Year from our house to your house!
