A Cook Island fishing god! That is so neat. I haven't seen many of those around and those that I have seen have not even been half as good as yours.

Aloha!

Laojia: Thanks Bro', your sandpaper is very helpful here !

Aweulekuula: Thanks, I'm happy to have this kind of comment about my work here. I try to sand the piece until the wood speaks with its own grain.

Mahalo,

B.

Benjamin, nice carves on your Tangaroa!

Some dedicated sanding on him also... silky smooth!

Hey Ben,
hope your are OK
little question what kind of camera and lense you use for your pictures ?

mahalo
Akuae

B

Kia ora,

Sorry for being not there since... pouh ! too much.

Update now:

Thanks to all of you my friends and bro': JohnP, Benz, Akuae, Surfin, Seek, Clarita and Akuae one more time !

Surfin': the wax I use is Bee wax. Now I use it like Laojia told me (you put your wax on the piece and wait for 2 hours and then you make it shine with a soft brush) it worked better than when you don't wait.

I forgot to post the picture of a meeting with a famous box/tiki/inlay maker Sir J. aka Laojia:

Mahalo,

Benjamin.

L

Finally an update! Not too soon bro'! :P

Thanks Tiki Scott, the kavakava is even better when you got it in your own hands. I tried to steal it but Laojia is too strong for me

Coming along nicely.
