-Sorry Sensei Carver, Tekoteko is not yet finished. Soon moko study and carving. Meanwhile, I stumbled on an acacia pieces and I had to do something... Get well soon Sensei Carver!

Impressive, great collaboration with Tama too.

I was going to take a stick and mount it to a base and call it "Tiki In Space" - then I realized he kinda beat me to it, by a few years. I love your interpetation!

Salut Jérôme,

I register 2 years ago on tiki central but for some reason did not really post or comment anything. I came back to it recently and discover your post....Well, so nice to see so many good work, can not comment on anything in particular as everything is done with talent and good spirit.
Congratulations and keep up the good work.
One thing, I wanted to ask, where can I find any informations on tiki vibes apart from facebook....I know I could register but I am against it....:wink:

Our last exhibit in the french west coast it now finished. Here the pics of the pieces what I've finished just in time:

First, the Tekoteko:

Carved from prunus, paua shell and grenadill for the eye, bone heru

Then, a larger Hawaïan style tiki


Carved from willow

The second of squared moai:

Carved from plane and beech.
This guy have already a new home in Connecticut!

For the opening of the exhibit, there were two evening concerts in a bar, I made a part of the decorating with some styrofoam Tiki masks:

Back from La Rochelle, I had fun customizing this shift knob was given by my friend Nikko:
