Lucky you. If there’s one reason I’m sorry I don’t live in California, it’s that I don’t have access to all the local tiki places, markets, and artists.

Yeah I should clarify that when I said "last one" I meant "the last one they brought with them to the event". It's not a limited run or anything, and I wholeheartedly recommend you patronize those folks, they do great work.

I ran into Greg from the Tiki Ti at the Tonga Hut parking lot sale the other day and he totally called me out on not coming by anymore, so I stopped in on the way home from work to get my Tiki karma straightened out.

Black Widow, Rum Runner, Tiki Punch, and Hawaiian Eye

I also had my usual Fog Cutter and learned that the fruity crimson float on top is not a syrup of any sort, like I'd always assumed, but some kind of fortified cherry and citrus wine that I'd never heard of.

PalmPat- looks like ya had a tune up

Now THAT sounds delicious! I absolutely must try that.

Been working on a thing recently that I've decided to call a Neke-Neke. It's become progressively more complicated as time goes on. This is its latest iteration:

1oz lime juice
1oz Appleton 12-year
1oz Barbancourt
1/2 oz Wray & Nephew Overproof
1/2 oz cognac
1/2 oz demerara syrup
1/2 oz cinnamon syrup
1/2 oz vanilla syrup
4 dashes Angostua bitters
4 drops absinthe

Hope- :)
Bam- looks good

Thanks, Hang10!

Here's one I keep returning to. House Pink Gin & Ginger:

1oz lime
1oz ginger syrup
3oz dry gin
2 dash Peychaud's

We got lemons the size of Nerf balls out here so it's time to put some lemon-heavy drinks into rotation, starting with a Trader Vic Grog.

That is a large lemon! How is it for flavor?

Here’s a drink I first found on Beachbum Berry’s now-defunct blog:

Citrus Rush

2-3 orange quarters
1 oz fresh lime juice
2 oz Cruzan Light rum
1 oz simple syrup
1/2 oz Cruzan Black Strap rum

Muddle orange quarters and lime juice in a cocktail shaker. Add light rum and simple syrup, shake with ice and strain into an ice-filled rocks glass. Float dark rum. Garnish with 2 orange wheels inside glass and a lime wheel on top.
