So great. Your style, design and superior execution is outa-sight!

Wow... and you paint! I love the sculpt of the hair and her upper eyelid on that first piece, not sure what draws me to that, but I like. It's all great stuff.

L

I was just getting ready to message you about the Peanut Bob's as well because I would like to buy one.
Let us know lady!

Great new stuff (as always!)

Bai, you seem to top yourself with every new piece!
Those lamps are masterful, perfect in every way!
The painting glows like a stained glass window!

Everything is stunning.

The cord on the lamp had me rolling. This is my first visit to this thread and my head is spinning. I am just speechless.

:tiki: Magical... :tiki:

Tiki Baï, no need to apologize - some of us post crap (too) frequently. But you wait a little while and post MASTERPIECES! Yes, the tassles are cute. Even the shades are beautiful.

Thank you for all your encouragement :)
makes me feel like I don't do it for nothing
concerning the peatnut bob... I stopped the product for now. I can tell how mess it is to do a "serie". :) I was tired about it :)
and almost sick about peanuts actually :D but I will probably redo it after christmas. I'll let you know
here is another creation I made : tree sista or sista tree?

Sweet damn!

Awesome work as always...but we have to find a new adjective to describe your art because "awesome""amazing" and the like doesn't even cut it anymore!

SuperAwesomeAmazing
would be a great word to describe it....
:)

Bai-you get better each new piece!
Hope your kiln feels better!

BT

Those lamps are Shagadelic!

I'm gonna have to comb through the thread but I love the Tiki guy on first page, menacing.

Aloha!

I'm thinking about to give it a try also to create my own mugs and wonder wich clay you use...?
Hope you'll keep sharing u're work here -even if it isn't tiki-, love it, love it, love it!
You're such a talented lady!
Take care, greetings from the Netherlands, Vivian.

Aloha and bonne année to everybody :)
Thank you soooo much for your support :)
I know I'm not posting very offen recently.. but still a Tiki fan :) and try to do my place
so for answering you question Tiki-vivi, I'll suggest you to start with a "grain" clay (sorry I don't know the name in english..) It's a clay with little bit of kind of sand.
It's more easier. you'll not have craks if you mold with this one. and most of it.. it make a really interesting texture on the mug or whatever. for example you can see the unkle mo or the "mermaid" when you glaze it.. it already looks like a stone.

here is some creation , I hope you'll enjoy them.
thank you
Baï

for this one I think I'm going to do a "serie".. can anybody tell me the real word for this? I know it's not serie...

T

Thank you so much for you're replie & tip!
All of youre creations are amazing, but I'll think you know it by now :P
It would be cool if you'll keep posting here even if it isn't often.
I'll be looking forward to see more of you're tiki-tastic artworks!
One more question though... do you use self-drying clay, or do you use the oven to dry the clay?
Take care & have fun with all that you're doing!
Greetings Vivian.

-I think it is called a serie or a set / or maybe a production line...-

You are as beautiful as you are talented, and believe me that's ALOT of talent.

Great stuff as always Bai.

Miss you.

Mon Deu!
did i spell that correctly?

WOW...
a Dr. Zaius CandleHolder
Mugs with tongues
Black Velvet moaiKavakavas
Cobra VooDoo mugs!
Uncle Mo
a Big Joe
and more!
YOU HAVE BEEN BUSY!
:)

I don't mind waiting to see your newest creations
It's always Well Worth it.....

and it's called a "series"
for mugs and prints, you could also call it a "run"
as in Print run
But your English is very understandable
and your masterful creations speak with love
which everyone can understand!

B

Unkle Mo looks like he just stepped off Easter Island! "WOW" is all I can say! Big Joe and the Planet of the Apes guy (Dr. Zaius??) are EXCELLENT! I never would have thought to go with Planet of the Apes but it seems to fit right in! Lovely work Ms. Bai and thanks for sharing with the rest of us :).

Amazing!
I love Dr Zeus' bottom finish, a part often neglected in ceramics, but my favourite is definitely the Moai.

Stunning, all of it. The texture and glaze combo on the Moai is perfect, the colors and style of the Voo-Doo mug are beautiful!

Keep it coming Baï!

awesome stuff, AS ALWAYS bai!!!

the velvet painting of the kava kava reminds me of this old roskopp deck
