Description:
LaniKai Lane is a mobile home park. It's located right off of Coast Hwy. It's worth driving thru if you are ever driving on the coast thru North San Diego County. What's interesting about this place is how many of the residents have decided to "tikify" their homes. (even though quite a few of the tikis are kind of ugly). I tried to document all of the tikis in there.

Amazing amount of re-Tiki-ing, indeed, some ok, some less. People get what they can find nearby, and what they can afford.
It's good to see things come full circle. :)

Couple years ago, I met a carver who lived there. I would bet many of those tikis are his.
