Description:
This one is for Zeta who has apparently sailed into the sunset after his 1,000 post.

I have seen several items for the Waikiki Club De Media Noche, a pre-Tiki night club located in Mexico City. Have never seen a perpetual calendar used as a souvenir before.

Aloha DC! Mahalo for this! I missed you too!

I been researching this night club for years but I don't own anything from here... For some reason, this items are not easy to find in the wild in Mexico.
But I do know some information about the place:
It is legendary among the old timers.
It ruled Mexico's City nightlife for 3 decades, from the 1930's until the end of the 1950's.
Tongolele's first show in Mexico was here.
It was inspired by the Tropicana in Cuba.
Agustin Lara (world famous Mexican music composer) owned the place.
Kid Azteca (world famous lightweight boxing champion) was a regular client.

I will post more facts as I remember them and when I go back to Mexico a check my "Tiki Mexican studies" notebook.

Zeta,

Look look forward to your info on this place. Here are a few more images from the brochure.
