Description:
Polynesian's replaces former Trader Vic's

Really? Dang. When did they close?
I was working on getting some photos up of Trader Vic's.
I'll do it anyway.

They closed last winter.
Polynesian´s opened on spring 2009.
No real loss as you can see from the pictures.
You know what Bigbrotiki says about "Tiki transmission tradition".
Polynesian's is probably one of the best examples on this concept.

And don´t forget to check the menu prices...

Thanks for the info. It looks as if not much has changed except the signage (and the menu is now full of typos.) At least it's not closed

I posted the pics in this other thread.

Aloha!
Visited this restaurant about a week ago and thought I should contribute some pictures.

Outrigger canoe in the entrance

Some tikis

From the dining room

And a nice Navy Grog

Was there with the children so could not stay long into the evening. But seemed like a nice place with pleasant staff. My girl and I got a cocktail on the house and they had some mugs for sale. Highly recommended if in the area.

Closed summer 2013.
