I can always tell the McTiki style- lookin' good. Is that styrofoam you are whittlin'?

T

Awesome stuff going on. Yes, we are wondering what the white material is. Looks like paper.

M

The mystery material is Basswood. The burrs make it fly.

McTiki

McAwesome.....

Cool stuff McTiki. You've been knockin it out of the park lately.

My guess was Styrofoam too.
What a mess that stuff is.

It's always good to see new McTiki carvings.

Yummy Yellow Pine! I love the stuff!

Nice work on the basswood guy too, I'm getting back into the basswood big time. That was some of the first stuff I carved 13 years ago.

Love the update, super clean as usual and all of it your unique style!

Thank you Amate, well he's not quite done, but, here Trickster is getting green moko highlights. About 60% done. Then inlays.

The color is a mix. I wanted the grain to show up and it did.

Probably weighs in at ~ 80 lbs

Thanks for lookin!

McTiki

I show off two of your carvings to everyone I can (I think the word I'm dodging here is "gloating") and they 100% dig'em. I wish I could be there to see the show.

M

Thank you guys!
