Those look like hardwood logs. Just looking at those makes my arthritis flare up. You must have hands made of steel!

Those logs do make your trailer look small.

Man those are cool.

Those look great - you hid the "issues" nicely.

H

I love all the castings, beautiful designs.

There were "issues"?

My issue is with the flacid penis on his head?? and vagina down below?? very progressive carving.

So I'm starting on this big guy.
It's a butt ugly log. It goes every way but straight.
It's the biggest log I've carved yet.
At around 4000 lbs I can't roll it.
I use the come along. I hook it to
one side or the other to roll it &
stay out of the way.

Exciting times

You'd think I would be further along
with all the wood I've cut off this.

Awesome start
girthy log :)

It is not so "butt ugly' any more Will.

Thats massive! Carving something of that size is one of those things on my bucket list. Please share with us your insights as you progress.

H

Nice start, keep us posted.

Hernia.

It's a good X-Mas when I can carve in the morning.
This has been a chain saw event for about a week.
Today I took out a chisel & put it to work.

T

thats kicking a$$ will! i see i wasn't the only one carving for christmas. that's going to be massively heavy even when finished.

You're a madman Will! Can't wait to see it finished ...

Amazingly huge! Can't wait to see it as the project progresses.

Looks amazing Will, but you usually sweep every remnant of sawdust from beneath before you post... what gives?

Awesome
Man this is going to be good
Can't wait to see more...

Very Cool! Let the chips fly.

I've sent several cans full of saw dust
to the dump.
I should be bagging it up and selling them.
It's still a chain saw event &
I still can't roll it with out a come along.

H

Will, this looks like it is going to be a monumental piece.

Holy Cr@p!!!!!

T

That's crazy awesome will. Thank goodness for power tools!

WC

Ruffing this guy out is going quick.
Detail takes the time.

S

Looking good Will. Can't wait to see this guy finished.

Can you roll him yet by hand?

N

Awesome

Coming along nicely. Putting on some muscle moving this guy around!

Got to see this guy up close and personal last night - WOW!!!!

WC

I've got a few things here.
First off

Look at the top of the Lono headdress.
TCFW

I carved this for my bud over 10 yrs ago.
It's palm & lasted as long as it could out side.
It got torched for New Years eve.

C

Great monster of a carving Will, this is going to be fun to watch.

Wow! Thats inspiring, Will - and I am in awe.

Mammouth Will, the natural base and top really highlight the exceptional middle! The flaming tiki still had some life left though, and died a premature death in my opinion.

Wow, that is one big tiki! The burning guy must have been a cool site. I have a few that have taken a beating but I can't give up the ghost.
