Ha! Those are some crazy outfits.
My friend had a bar and did after hours parties he sold more glow sticks and
Ring pops than anything.
People who do ecstasy the drug like to suck on things and get tripped out by
The glow sticks.

What do they call that kind of dress when the girls look like a doll?

Thank you for adding!

That Todd Rundgren - With A Twist CD is awesome!!!
Out by the pool in the summer, perfect!!!~

Think that Todd Rundgren was not happy with it as it was out of print really quickly.
It may be hard to find.

Maybe now that he has a tiki bar he likes that CD more.

Dam Jen love that Max Raabe too!

Good one Veronica! Thanks for that!
Used to play that CD at my restaurant called Jacks, It was a diner.
The Tra La La Song (One Banana, Two Banana)

Here’s one…
Dam the Singing nun killed herself.
Just saw the movie on TV.

Citing their financial difficulties in a note, she and Annie Pécher committed suicide by an overdose of barbiturates and alcohol on 29 March 1985.[5][10][14] In their suicide note, Decker and Pécher stated they had not given up their faith and wished to be buried together after a church funeral.[13] They were buried together in Cheremont Cemetery in Wavre, Walloon Brabant, the town where they died.[15] The inscription on their tombstone reads "J'ai vu voler son âme/ A travers les nuages" (English: "I saw her soul fly across the clouds"

Not a great cover.

I found the "With a Twist" CD on Amazon. It may even be on iTunes. I love that whole CD! Tried to get Martiki to add the Hello It's Me/Quiet Village mashup to the Smuggler's Cove playlist, but he wouldn't bite.

I've seen Max Raabe live a few times. That whole act is awesome! Here they are covering Tom Jones' Sex Bomb.

Har, used to play Tom Jones too.

Have never seen Asian cheerleaders, Yea to that I say.

Is that your High school Veronica!?

Good one Veronica.

My wife works next to the Director of Intentional Initiatives in Engineering at The Ohio State University.
He travels to japan and well everywhere a lot.
Well he likes the song country roads by John Denver, If you can find that in a foreign tongue, he wants German for some reason.
But any foreign sung version would be cool.

And thanks again for those songs you did add.
You too Jen!

Awesome! Thank you.
He will love it!

This song I love.
They sung it at an employee awareness day at work, OSU.
Well this lady stood up and started makin weird noises and flailing about, I asked “what is that All about” they said she had been touched with the unspeakable joy.
Never saw that before, but I must say that the gospel songs did get in me too, it was great!

Lastly I played this CD at my restaurant and it seemed to make people uncomfortable, like something inside them did not want To hear it.

I’m Not as reverent as all that sounds.

2cellos will play in Columbus on March 28 at the palace.

Here's what Elton John said...
“…Go and see them live, because it really is astonishing! I can’t remember seeing anything as exciting as them since I saw Jimi Hendrix live back in the 60’s…”

I very rarely look at Bilge and Beyond Tiki so i'd never seen this thread before but i'm going to have to go back and look through all the pages now.

I'm a huge fan of cover songs and i love when an already great song is taken to the next level by an artist who puts their own spin on it and not only makes it their own, but sometimes improves on it.

Those 2Cellos guys are amazing Skip. I'm not a fan of AC/DC at all but that cover of Thunderstruck was great. I watched a few more of their songs after watching that and have bookmarked the live concert to watch sometime later.

Anyway, here's my contribution. I love this guy. His music is actually quite depressing, which is what i love, and i was fortunate to get to see him a few weeks ago when he toured here for the first time. If you like this then you might like the rest of his stuff as all of his music is pretty much the same, as in vocal delivery and tempo.

Yes. I also enjoy indy girl groups. And the oddities. Such as Weezer covering AKB48 Heavy Rotation.

Man I just can't do sad.

That's so funny. As soon as i read that line i started singing the song to myself. I didn't know it was Barbara Streisand who sung it though.

And I have seen Steppenwolf in concert.

no real rules to this.
Would say its a remix, but any variation of a song is fine.

Spying on someone’s computer is bad. As in “go to jail” bad. However, there are a few very narrow exceptions, like monitoring your kids or employees. If you fall in this category (or just want to know how someone might be monitoring you), here’s how.

"We would take the songs to New York but be promptly sent on our way by every record company. Out of frustration we decided to record a novelty song with nothing but a beat and repetitive lyrics as a joke and see if they would buy that. Surprisingly they did. We sold it to a major record company. It was called “Gotta Hear The Beat” with a made up artist name of Animal Jack. " -Jerry Buckner
