Thanks for the great comments.
I framed out about two thirds of the garage. Where you see the tapa pattern I built a soffit underneath the garage door...so it still opens up over the bar.
Here are a few more details:

Routed out some trim.

Stapled down some christmas light strings flat on the top of the shelves for some up-light.

Tiki Fire (fake) Bowl.

a few lamps I made.


Still planning on painting a design on the ceiling and making a fountain this summer.

It's been a long time...

Last year we were part of the Home Bar Tour for Tiki Kon.

It was fantastic...we met lots of super cool people and have made some great friends.
Here are some pics of the new stuff happening at the Lanai Vancouver...check out the new booth, the new lamps, the new Tiki wall sconces and the new fountain!
