Making bamboo picture frames

Anyone got some advice/links for how to make bamboo frames? Have a bunch of artwork that I want to frame for the bar I’m planning.

I did an episode of A Moment of Tiki on this. But the original design was intended to go outside, where it needed to be robust and heavy to deal with variable weather. For inside display, it's probably a little overbuilt. But maybe there are some ideas you could pick out that are useful.
