I feel like I always get the same suggestions-- lots of Les Baxter, Arthur Lyman, etc. I'm looking to branch out from the typical a bit. Does anyone have some specific examples they feel could fit the vibe but might not be on rotation at False Idol?Edited by slope game 1 day ago [ Edited by richardlinn on 2024-08-18 20:22:12 ] |

If you have access to Apple Music there is a “Tiki Bar Essentials” playlist. I used that as a starting point for my own playlist. |

Check out what I call the "tripxotica" of Monster Rally - https://monsterrally.bandcamp.com/music Also, Sim Nagai's "Exotica XL" LP is of a similar realm... you might recognize some familiar samples too: https://simnagai.bandcamp.com/album/exotica-xl Good luck on your quest! -Rupe |
