I sent you a pretty important PM.

Sorry, my internet access was down over the weekend...
This hacking of my website has been going on for months, and sometimes it is on, sometimes it's off. Sofar it has been re-directing to a "Tropical Lei" Strip Club, this
"Flirt For Free" is new. How can one stop this?
Everybody, give me a statitic on how many get through to "bookoftiki.com" and how many get "leid"...

K

Took me right to flirt4free.com. Right before it looked like 404.janey.net for a split second and then I was instantly looking at a girl named Junko.

Sven, while your here...can you tell me anything about the Tiki on page 109 in BOT? From "The Tiki's" in Monterey, CA, Who carved it ect.?

I was hoping to get "leid", but I got the BoT site. Damn.

Your index is gone and your 404 error page has been replaced with a redirect page. Delete the errors/404.htm page and reload your index. That should fix it. Actually, delete all the errors/404 pages.

No, actually, I bet a redirect header was added to the index, but unless your host fixes their security, it'll get broken as fast as you fix it...

I got the BOT, no problem! (No problem other than that it's a bit - well quite a bit - out of date...)

Wellll...I thought this is a "Retro" community, no? (Ouch)

I'll have it updated once the Witco book has come out....

No comments now, I am a sensitive auteur/artiste!

Got the BOT site, no problem.

BigBro,

sent you a PM with a recommendation for a new host. As Swanky said - unless your host fixes their issues it's bound to happen again.

That's just totally uncool - a good host will segregate their porno sites on seperate machines, so even if things got messed up, Kailuageoff still wouldn't be able to Flirt for Free...

Where are the tikis in (my backyard) Monterey?

Sven, your website took me here. You'll hear from my lawyer in the morning.

Monterey Park actually, sorry. It's a suburb of LA, according to BOT.

All I can tell you that he is one crazy Mofo...but you know that. I would like to know his resting place now.
Before me and my team of urban archeologists (P13: Pete Moruzzi, Otto, Doug Miller, John English, and me kneeling) got there, Danny had begun selling off his idols to places like the "The Sea" (Huge nautical decor place now closed too) in San Pedro, and he vanished.
I found it curious that in concept (all eyes, nose and mouth) he resembles the table Tiki on page 187. Maybe it was carved by Bob Lutz? (P. 250). Now THERE is a location to find:
THE MAI TAI ROOM...if that's what the sign says. By the size of the Tikis and brick walls, it was adjacent to some Hotel...but which/when/where?

Thanks for the response, I'm finishing carving a repro/interpatation of that bitchin' Tiki. Thanks so much for capturing that moment in time over there.

"The Sea" (Huge nautical decor place now closed too) in San Pedro,

My mom, Eli's youngest, the Elf in the book "How Daddy Became A Beachcomber" did some post retired sub work for that place. It was a very cool, packed to the gills, store. But I remember the owners treating their emplyoee's rather harsh. Wonder why they closed??? Hmmmmmmm. A no brainer. What was this subject about?
