Arrrgh...I am doomed to be haunted by this band the rest of my life, and tonight they were on Jimmy Kimmel with tikis onstage.

I vote for the belugas. Kawaiiiii!

It might be interesting to know what band Purple Jade was originally talking about. Of course, if we knew, this would not have been nearly as fun!

Hmmm, from the looks of purple jades last post..... it appears that they are mimes.

Ok, I confess.
I believe she is talking about Bow Wow Wow.
I like them.
Well, one song.
I want Candy.
Besides, only chick I've ever seen that actually looked GOOD with a mohawk.
What can I say, Im a first generation punker.

:P

Banal wordplay wank?
Just kidding, y'all.

Jeez, Bow wow wow....time hasn't been kind to their legacy. I remember when my mum made me take down a poster of theirs due to nudity issues.

Bow Wow Wow! That takes me back a few years. My fave BWW lp was "See Jungle! See Jungle! Go Join Your Gang Yeah! City All Over, Go Ape Crazy" Hey...now I know what Crazy Al was listening to in the '80's. And if you have any BWW layin' around the house, it's probably right next to your coveted Haysi Fantayzee & Bananarama albums.

God is she still hot as ever!!!

Those of you will some memory of the event will of course recognize 19 Broadway in Fairfax as the home of Vise Grip's Bamboo Bar and the final stop on the SF Tiki Bar Crawl 2004.

This thread is no longer Beyond Tiki!

Great eye Martin!
As you know I was there (uh, physically?).
I obviously didn't catch that when I posted the pic.
Small world.

It never was...
"...tonight they were on Jimmy Kimmel with tikis onstage. "
