Haven't seen them for sale (yet), but here's a pic from March of them -

There's also a "Pink Panther Cocktail Party" book coming from Surrey (the folks who do the Adam Roche/Shag books) this fall -

On that note (entering the Beyond Tiki realm)

i don't live in the US - was the marketing attempt to re-introduce the "hip" Pink Panther received with a bang... or a whimper?

After the fan-fare of the DVD set came out, it really seems that the public was satisified. I personally haven't seen much promoting for any other Pink Panther products other than the DVD set. Kind of sad. I would like to see Shag put out a nice SE silkscreen print for the Anniversary instead of the 3 cheaply made one's that are plastered all over the internet.

I'd have to agree with TNTiki. Pretty much here and Ebay are the only places I've seen any interest in it. Now just wait till the Matrix 10 DVD box set comes out, boy oh boy will that be hyped up!

In my opinion, the coolest things about the Pink Panther franchise are (from most cool to most lame):

  1. Shag's reinterpretation.

  2. Henry Mancini's score.

  3. The cartoon.

  4. Recent attempt to milk the franchise by grabbing 21st Century lounge-sters by their ankles and shaking them up and down to see if there's any more more nickels and dimes to be had.

  5. The actual movies.
