Aloha Festival,sponsored by the Pacific Islanders Cultural Association.

Where:Presidio Parade Grounds, SF. Sat 8/7 & Sun 8/8, 10-5 both days.
There is no alcohol permitted.
"Featuring Pacific Island music, Polynesian dance, educational exhibits and workshops, arts and crafts vendors & island-style food." Check out their vendor list & website.

It's a great festival- went a few years ago and had some great food and scored a few goodies by chance only: It's most definitely an ISLAND festival, not tiki at all. Can't make it this year.

Yup, no drinkin', however, the key is that it's sponsored by the Pacific Islanders Cultural Assoc. so there's got to be some artists there. Out of the 120 vendors listed, I am most suspicious of "Miggy's Island Kettle Korn." With free admission, you can't beat the price!
