Someone finallly opened a tiki bar in Vancouver and it just so happens that it's on my street. The tiki gods must be smiling on me! Its called Raglan's Bistro (named after the famous NZ surf spot) The decor's still developing (give 'em a break, they're new!) but the drink I had was great & the food was fantastic too. I'm hoping to have the place wallpapered with my art...

You can read about Raglan's (as well as Vancouver's Waldorf Hotel and its amazing Polynesian Rooms) in the latest issue of the Mai Tai Newsletter... http://www.angelfire.com/un/maitai |

Thanks! What always amazes me is how many cool things are out there that I don't even know about. Just bought issue #12 & can't wait to get it. Always nice to cross paths with fellow Canadian lovers of tiki. You can expect a press release from me in the future. : ) |
