Just bumped into this. I used to check, regularly, the site from whence it comes but had not in a while. http://www.drinkboy.com/LiquorCabinet/Syrups/Falernum.html Could anyone who gets a chance to try either recipe please post results? |

Thanks for posting that. What, pray tell, is "Zest from 10 limes?" Anyone have an idea? That second recipe sounds like a tragic misunderstanding or a cruel hoax. How in the hell could a tablespoon of almond extract or a half oz of cloves have any perceptible effect on 9 gallons of rum, 3 gallons of lime juice, 12 gallons of water, 1 gallon of milk, a 1/2 gallon of brandy and The first recipe sounds interesting tho... |
