Last autumn, before I was involved in Hukilau 2005, and before I heard the (still-unconfirmed) speculation that certain other Chicagoans MIGHT be doing Exotica2005, I began making a few plans to do Exotica2005 myself. These plans included securing internet domain names for web sites. These domains have been sitting vacant for months, so I figure that I may as well use up the bandwidth for a good cause. Note: if anyone ends up getting Exotica2005 off of the ground (I hope so!) contact me and we'll get these domains transferred over for your use. Here's some Webley Edwards LPs, recently digitized from my collection. These files are desgined to fit onto 2 CDs, or you can keep them as MP3s. There's just about enough bandwidth on these domains that about 20 people per month can grab these files. Please DO NOT REPOST THESE LINKS TO OTHER SHARITY SITES. They are strictly for Tiki Central members only! If the bandwidth runs out before you get yours, wait until next month and try again. To save to your hard disk - Win-doze users: right-click the link, and "save link target as..." or similar option, depending on your browser. Finally, I posted on another thread recently that dowloading music without paying for it is a pretty uncool thing to do. Lest I be called a hypochondriac :wink:, let me state that I draw the line thusly: vintage LPs that are not available on legit CDs and are not available for download on any legit or commercial download site are fair game, in my mind, so long as no profit is being made from their sharing.
