Roys in Amboy on Route 66. It's a '50s diner that looks like it fell from outerspace onto the salt flats on the Mojave... http://www.schweich.com/imagehtml/IMGP0357sm.html What would you do with your new business??? to build business? To attract customers? Okay it's a pretend Question...but Roy's is for sale...Ive been there several times, and it's horrible but always bekons me back. |

Add a Funhouse. The old fashion kind with a rotating barrel, mirror maze, twisted clowns... Imagine driving through the middle of the desert and coming across a weird funhouse. Wouldn't you stop? |

Used to stop there a lot on the way to the Caslte Mine and Mitchell Caverns. In the middle of summer when it's 120, that place was an Oasis! Has anyone been to Amboy Crater? Mmmmmmm, Lava. How many movies or tv shows have taped at that cafe? Class? Class? Anyone?? |
