Has anyone ever seen a white, slender mug with an embossed golden naked chick on it? My wife picked one up for me this week and I'd be curious to know it's origins. For those horn-dogs interested, I'll try to post a pic asap. It's actually very unique and cool looking. Just curious. |

Hey, I have that mug! I found it in this out of the way Antique shop near Fresno. I guess they were used in a place called Trader Jack's Polynesian Chicken Shack for their Pollo Mai Tai drinks. Luckily, mine still has the foil OMC sticker on the bottom. Very rare mug indeed, as there was only 1 Trader Jack's Polynesian Chicken Shack. Unfortunately, the Chicken Shack went the way of the wrecking ball as times changed and now in its place stands a Walgreen's drugstore. If you're lucky, you can still find one of their menu's on eBay. Damn that Walgreen's.... *** * * The Polynesian Popster * * ***
