Bamboo of China - Collecting Tiki

It is a super-common Orchids of Hawaii design, also used at Kahiki and other Tiki bars, and is also one of the Orchids designs bought by Dynasty and still available from them at wholesale prices. BUT... this one says "Bamboo of China" on the bottom and has a number of BC-103. Also, the sculpt is crisp with sharp details not seen on the many, many rehashes of this design that have surfaced again and again over the years. My speculation is that Dynasty have revamped their product line and added the BoC label to their mugs, or else someone in addition to Dynasty has the rights to make this mug? I am not a super-intensive mug collector, but I have never seen the Bamboo of China label before... Any clues who they are? [ Edited by: tikibars on 2004-11-01 18:54 ]
