hi
i picked up a tepco scorpion bowl with the hula girls. it is thick and tan. it does not say trader vics anywhere. any ideas on who they were made for or how old it is. how much might it be worth?

these were used at harvey's as well as others. if you have a pic it would help.

or try the search function on this site. i'm sure it has been discussed before.

Madame Bong picked this one up a number of years ago for not too much if memory serves. But like everything else, prices increase by demand and less supply.

TEPCO made TV mugs and bowls originally. TEPCO was already in the business of making vetrified restaurant ware at the time, and the factory was close to TV's in El Cerrito.

This bowl shows the typical TV motif of the drunk and the hula babes.

What's it worth? What ever the market will support...
