Munktiki Tall Moai Mug question

My wife just got me one of these as a gift. I was wondering if anyone who owns one could answer me a question. I know that you can tell if a mug has crack in it by tapping it and seeing if it rings. My mug thunks. I was wondering if the stone style glaze might affect this test. A

Anybody willing to tap their Munktiki Moai mug and tell me the results?

Or if Stuckie is reading, maybe he could answer the question.
