I was in the Monterey area today for work amd arranged to pick up one of the Munktiki mugs I had bought in order to "Save a tree". Well, I ended up getting a tour of their studio and boy was it AWEWSOME (drool..). These people are really awesome and showed me all the great stuff they have coming up! ( You'll love it!! ) They even let me bring my fellow Coast Guard crewmembers and help introduce them to the world of TIKI. Much thanks to the entire Munktiki family for making mine and my friends visit so great!

Yep, Munktiki is the coolest thing going. I'd love to see their workshop some day.

Can't say enough nice things about Munktiki. Glad you got to visit their shop. We had a very memorable experience with them as well awhile back. It is a real treat to see for anyone who collects mugs. Here's some documentation from our trip...

I saw those pics from the link above ^^^ I would totally pick through their trash. Think of the mug you could make with those broken treasures.
