Wow,I just signed on and saw that a 131 people were currently browsing the site! Is it always this high in the morning? Do that many of us sneak onto the site while at work? Sure makes my day a little brighter!

The other day it was up to 340 at 2.00am

Anytime the "currently browsing" number is really high, it always seems to be just my name and 120 'guests'...

Well, I used to until about four months ago. Now my feeble attempts are met with a big "ACCESS DENIED" (courtesy of my company's new, more restrictive PC use policy). Boy, jus' wait 'till I get MY own company...rampant web surfing, three martini lunches, scandalous office partys, smoking at your desk...it's all comin' back baby!

the "people browsing" is not 100% accurate, But I'm not sure why.

But I checked the logs and we've had an unusually high amount of activity over the last few days ... about double the number of our normal pageviews.

Suprisingly most are not registering a referring website. But we've seen high numbers from:

http://www.boingboing.net (got a link to the Mary Blair topic today).

http://www.laughingplace.com (linking to the Enchanted TikiRoom topic)

http://www.geenstijl.nl (They're linking to this topic, of all things :( ).
