Maybe this has been brought up in another post, but here are the actual lyrics to "Quiet Village." I did not make these up, nor did Les Baxter or even Martin Denny. They were written by someone named Mel Leven. Here's my song for Tiki Day. Is called "Ode To Tiki Day" and its sung to the tune of "Margaritaville." JUST KIDDING!! I'm kidding, I swear! I'm not sure what tune it can be sung to, Ive got to hone my Hawaiian slide guitar skills. Anyhow, here we go: |
