I need help. I tried the search but it came up dry. I am building a Tiki bar in my basement, fun and a little cheesey, not to serious. My problem: deep red carpet and WHITE walls. The solution: your help please. |

subdued tones. Dark is good in a tiki bar. Try painting colors that would simulate lauhala matting. Get a faux finishing tool at your local home improvement tool to put some texture on the walls. Be creative. You dont have to spend alot to get the walls right. An important step is to create clutter. Cover the walls with all of your favorite collectibles and artwork. |

Green. Green goes with red. And it certainly goes with "tiki." |

a photo-realistic wallpaper mural could do the trick, they're usually less than $100 and come in dozens of images. -Z |
