R.I.P. Paul Hester - drummer for Crowded House

One of my favorite bands..very sad.

Very sad. I've seen them a couple times and Paul always seemed like he was having a blast. Always liked his style.

I'm curious to hear exactly what happened. Seems like there might have been some foul play with him turning up in a park after being missing for a day.

From what I heard it was suicide. Apparently he had suffered from depression for years. Sounds like he was manic depressant (or bipolar, which is the new term). This explains why he was really happy at times (manic) and depressed other times.

This stuff is pretty ugly i can tell you.

I saw Crowded House several times in the 80's and 90's, but never after Paul left the band. It will be interesting to see the new line up this year.
