A Mervyn's flyer for this weekend shows 50% off beach towels and one in the add has a big moai on it. Don't know if it's the only tiki towel. It's not one of the one's from last year. |

I looked around for any tiki towels and could not find a one. Hand towels, beach towels, bath towel, etc. They did have a hula girl towel and hula girl bottle opener nearby. |

...and I was just going to say "Yeah, and they didn't even copy the Tiki from the BOT this time!", when I recognized the gable of the A-frame from the Hale-Tiki rendering on page 54. :) [ Edited by: bigbrotiki on 2005-04-11 09:37 ] |

Didn't someone say that Mervyn's was somehow related to Jewel/Osco? |

Actually, it was a Mervyn's/Target relationship. Last year there were strong rumors that Target was going to sell off it's Mervyn's portion of the corporation, so by now they may be separate entities. |

Target and Mervyn's are no longer affiliated. [ Edited by: purple jade on 2005-04-13 08:37 ] |
