"Fine Feathered Friends of Walt Disney's Enchanted Tiki Room"!

Tikitackett.com, my personal domain, is getting ready to host the "40 Years of Tiki Celebration", which starts June 23rd of 2003...the 40th birthday of Walt Disney's Enchanted Tiki Room.

If you have a picture of yourself, your family, or whatever...or a story about a "magical moment" which took place for you at the Tiki Room, please send it in to be included in the COMPLETELY REVAMPED "Enchanted Tiki Room Online: An Unofficial Tribute to Walt Disney's Enchanted Tiki Room".

The "Fine Feathered Friends" area will be up in mid-February as part of the celebration preview.

Does anyone know who actually owns this pic? I would like to include it in the new preview page, but have to make sure I have permission...

Great start on the website Jason! You can use that photo (taken by Al's lovely wife, Shelley- thank you Shelley, that is one of my favorite photos!) or any of the other ones on my site. There are more photos, of the huge gang of us TCers that went there, under the Tiki Bash Weekend 2002 photos on my site.

BTW, for the anniversary I plan on having a full length video CD put together of the entire Disneyland Tiki Room show and ambiance to give out to anyone who wants it. I shot about three and a half hours of video one weekend and I just have to edit it together.

Keep up the good work at Disneyworld keeping the Tiki Room rollin'!
