Does anyone have a lead on Easter Island water fountains? I saw on at a Balinese store on LaBrea in LA and Fountain in LA, but I'm a litle intimidated by the $625 price. I saw this on the web, but they do not ship to the states. http://www.gardenway.com.au/fountainpops/EasterIslandHead.htm Mahalo. |

$625? Boy... you could probably have a local TC carver make you one from wood for cheaper... I know I could do one... I've done a few wood tiki fountains this year... there's just the little cost of shipping it to you from the Midwest... After seeing that picture I was thinking Seamus too... would be just the person to do a cast fountain. [ Edited by: Lake Surfer on 2005-06-06 21:40 ] |

When I saw the caption I knew it wasn't going to be as good as a Seamus. Twice the price and a quarter of the quality. That Moai must be the one buried up to its forehead under dirt. |

Seamus is the man. I saw some of his fountains at Tiki Oasis and you can't beat them for the price. Too bad I don't have a yard. Perhaps I can have one installed in my bathtub? |

I noticed on Seamus's website it saying something about coming out with table top tiki water fountains. I can't wait to see what he is in the works!!! |

I've had my eye on these birdbaths for a while but so far haven't taken the plunge... Can probably be converted into a fountain. |

SEAMUS! SEAMUS! SEAMUS! dangergirl, I've got that moai birdbath, and I must say that I love it!(the birds love it even more) Here's a couple pics of mine by the pond. My next project is to cover the electrical post with a little A-frame bamboo hut.

My big ol' seamus moai has a place of pride in my living room, he's fantastic. He's light enough to carry around without a problem (and ship, of course), but heavy enough that he doesn't fall over when bumped into. And, of course, he's stylin'. Highly recommended! |

Wahine: love your tiki set up! very cool! I was thinking you could add a simple outdoor fountain "bubbler" - but it wouldn't involve drilling - I've been experimenting with fountain add-ons for my indoor fountain - just discovered color lights! This site is a good resource for DIY fountain stuff: http://www.fountainpumpandsupply.com/fountain_consultation.htm |
