MAYBE someone here can answer this question for me....?
I'm a big fan of the Belgium 60s-70s "Hawaiian" band The Waikikis. I have all but one of their LPs to my knowledge.
However on eBay today I see a listing for Australian releases of two Waikikis LPs that have a few different tracks than are on the American releases.
LP "Moonlight On Diamond Head" Australia has a track called "Coconut Shells"..left off US release.
LP "Lennon & McCartney-Hawaiian Style" (US release entitled "Midnight Luau" has two tracks not on US release.."Ringo" & "Beatles March"..but is missing "Surfing Girl".
I'm wondering..if any one knows (fat chance, right?) are these just retitled tracks from other Waikikis US LPs (cause they did mostly original material) or are they material unique to those Aussie LPs, not on American LPs? Cause if they are..I want them! lol.
I understand one of their tracks was used in SpongeBob movie,,which is on my Netflix lineup...haven't seen it yet.
Cheers,
John
