Sheesh! I leave for 10 days and I barely recognize the place when I get back!
A spell check?
All my prayers have been answered! Thanks Hanford, or is it Humuhumu who should get all the gratitude? Now I just need to figure out how to use the new feature :D
Here's my Maui Post Card for all of my Tiki Central Ohana. Wish you all were there, it was a great time!

This one's all Hanford, and it's mighty impressive what he's done. I did help by seeding it with all the Poly-Pop-friendly words, but that was the easy part. He did all the fancy codin'.

Welcome back! Hope you had a grand time!

hey! tell us all 'bout Maui, and post us some pix!! todd and i are going over in Feb ~ and haven't been there in 10 yrs!

That wasn't the sunset at all, but what could be seen across the Pacific Ocean from the OC Beach Burn in Huntington Beach. Actually it was on Front St. in Lahaina in front of a resaurant called Canoe's.
Tiki?
You want Tiki?
I didn't get pictures of half of the tiki's I saw on the island. Tiki seem to be thriving Maui.

Here is 1 of 2 Elviki at Lulu's in Kihei

2 HUGE wet Tiki's guarding someones driveway in Hana

2 Tiki's at a horse ranch on the small road to Lindberg's grave

2 Tiki's in Wialea on the way to Makena Beach, the first one looks like it might be a intercom system from the drive way and the second is the mailbox.

The next batch of pictures seem to be the tiki most people are selling in Maui and claiming to be personally hand carved. Eventhough I saw quite a few sellers sitting around wood chips and some were even drawing designs on wood, but I never saw anyone actually carving anything. It just seemed curious to me.

These were the nicest of the personally carved? mass produced? lots I saw everywhere.
I saw one tiki that was really nice, I forgot to photograph on a beach overlooking the ocean on the roqd to Lahaina. He looked pretty old and weathered and he was a beauty, I wish I had gone back to get a picture of him.

Ending with another lovely Maui sunset...
