If you've never been here, tomorrow is the last time ever you can see it. After 30-something years, it's closing for good: |

Gary did an outstanding job again this year - you really owe it to yourself to see this Halloween tradition! He even added some animatronic ravens this year.... It's sad to think of it going away, but he's been doing it since 1973(!) - and like he said, "I've been turning down work every year during Sept. - Oct. - Nov., I can't keep doing that!" |

I was there Saturday night and yes, you do owe it to yourself to pay them a visit. I've seen this thing evolve over the years and it just gets better and better. It is truly amazing. This is not your typical haunted house where people jump out, there are no actors. This is a slow somber outdoor walk-through where you have to look at the details. Watch something long enough and you'll start to notice that something is happening. Apparitions on fog, floating objects, breathing tombstones, etc. etc. World class special effects and sounds. This is your last chance. It's sad to see them go. After visiting the Hallowed Haunting Grounds go visit Boney Island just a few blocks away. Another amazing display coming from a totally different angle. |
