A blatant rip off by master poet Chongolio (1965 and still going strong) based the following poem on a fable which was told in darkest jungles of the Lost-Isle many years ago. It was six monkeys of Chongostan The First approached the Tiki, The Second, feeling of the torch mark, The Third approached the log, The Fourth reached out an eager hand, The Fifth, who chanced to drink some rum, The Sixth no sooner had begun And so these monkeys of Chongostan Moral: So oft in Polynesian pop wars, Please excuse my attempt at combing humor, plagerism and satire in one post. My inspiration can be found here: http://www.tikicentral.com/tikicentopic=17288&forum=7&65tral/bb/viewtopic.ph http://www.wordfocus.com/word-act-blindmen.html Thank you goodnight, Chongolio P.S. please vote for me to be in cool and current.

I'm not sure if there is such a thing as a tiki poem. but this seems authentic and it smell like the real thing. I would have read it, if it was a Haiku. |

That's really, really good! It also has a very powerful moral, especially these last couple of weeks. Mahalo. |
