I came across these and thought that some tikiphiles might want to own one. I have 5 belt buckles and 15 medallions (double sided) from the Mai-Kai! I do not know how old that they are, but they appear to be decades old (at least '60-70's)! Both are made of copper or brass and have a beautiful patina. I myself have not polished mine, as I like it as it is. I wear the buckle every day, and get lots of compliments on it. The buckles are 2.5" in diameter and the medallions are 1.75" in diameter.
These are a rare find. The buckles are $75 and the medallions are $20. Email me if you are interested. Have one for the Hukilau! Mahalo. :tiki: |

I already have the Mai Kai stitched logo men's shirt and a Mai Kai sweater, so I need these to be all decked out for the Hukilau weekend...on which, unable to attend, I will wear these items in silent hommage to the big pow wow across the big lake, sending lots of mana, and wishing Christie & support to make lots of man-ey so they can do it again next year! |
