My brother returned from a Southern Caribbean cruise with a shot glass for me with this inscription: "Echate un palito." "Palito" means "short stick"...but I don't know/can't find what "echate" means. So it should read "____ a short stick." Anyone? Anyone?

I just used one of those online translators and it came up with this definition..."You throw you a popsicle" Now I'm dying to know what the hell that means!

I think it means "Have a Short One (shot)," sort of a Spanish version of "Suck'em Up!"

It just means, "Drink a shot".

Whew...I was worried it was some sort of insult about my "short stick"!
