I know, I could sell them on Ebay and get lots of money for them. But tiki mugs were made either to be stolen in restaurants, dug up in thriftshops, or traded. Over the years I have collected quite a few of these fine mugs that were made for the Mövenpick Restaurant in Switzerland when tiki came to Europe in the sixties or seventies. Today only few tiki places remain on the old continent, so these are relics of the golden age. If anyone would like to be the proud owner of one of these beauties, do send me pictures of what you have for trade. I would like to trade them for mugs I am still missing, like a black moai, an islander, tiki bob, .... http://im1.shutterfly.com/procserv/47b3df27b3127cce93269dfc48100000001410 Traderval [ Edited by: Traderval on 2003-01-07 01:17 ] |

I urge anyone with something of interest to reply - I've just got a fine example of one of these European beauts, well packed and in damn fine condition. Cheers Traderval, Trader Woody |

Cheers to all you traders out there! My collection has suddenly doubled in size and there are some damn fine mugs coming all the way from the US. But I am slowly running out of trading goods. So hurry up if you still want me to find one. Otherwise it will take years to get some together again. Thanks Woody, love your Harveys! |

Traderval, I've got a couple spare westwood mugs. They are short ones and are not in perfect condition. Let me know if you'd trade for one of these. http://www.tradewindgraphics.com/mugs/westwoodmugs.jpg How would I ship them to Switzerland? --MauiTiki |
