Is this still tiki?

Found these two mugs the other day and wonder if anyone has seen anything like this before. The first looks like a Wedgewood after the cultural revolution and was made in Japan. Is this still tiki ? If yes, where does it come from ???

This one could be a shot mug. Black outside with a lovely red on the inside. On its base it says ?Joni, B.C., Canada?. Is there any tiki lounge called Joni up there? The face on the front has a goatee, the one on the back a bizarre headdress that reminds one of ancient Greek theatre. Is this still tiki?

They aren't tiki, but they are exotica...so they're in the family. Well, that's my opinion.

The mug is more South American, and the black one might be a sake glass. My 2 cents.

Not Tiki, but it is one of the few non-Tiki items I keep in my altar (I have it in a redish beige), because it is simply a cool mug!
