New Year's Eve in Seattle with LUSHY

Pages: 1 2 replies

Aloha,
I received this email from the Lushy posse, and got the word to share it here:

Happy Holidays friends!

We want to thank you for supporting us, coming to shows, buying
our CD's and sending in radio requests. Thank you so much!!!
And to express our thanks we are putting on a party New Year's
Eve at Andy's Diner with our friends the Buttersprites and DJ's
(tba).

Andy's Diner you ask? If you aren't already aware of it Andy's is
Seattle's coolest restaurant and lounge. First opened in 1949
made up of 7 vintage train cars located in SODO. So come
on--lets get lost together in the loungey maze of Andy's Diner and
ring in the New Year!

Andy's Diner, 2963 Fourth Ave. S. 98134, 206-624-4097

So I guess they can somehow squeeze one or two patrons into Andy's around those bands?

From another source (unnamed as I don't know how "private" this party is meant to be):

"Amero-Japanese girl-punk-wave band, The Buttersprites, will be playing an early set somewhere within the 9 o'clock hour; Lushy will begin its first set somewhere within the 10 o'clock hour, and it's second just before midnight.

The restaurant will close its doors at 9pm, at which time you will gain entry from going round the back. (Think of this as a private, in-the-know party, if you will.)"

Apparently Lushy won't be playing any gigs for several months after this show.
