I don't get the comparing Tiki to ugly dolls thing and I really can't figure out how she failed to stumble across TC while researching her article. Note the lack of TC listed in her recommended website list.

:) I know, I just saw a listing for a Steve K(!)rane bowl whose description made it sound like HE designed it...no mention of Gabe.

Once an item has brought big bucks, e-bay sellers latch onto the buzzwords like leeches. Soon poor Steve will appear in midcentury design books among the Eameses!

You mean like Shag, Duke Carter and...um...oh...what's his name....Sven something.

I've read better posts here on TC than that piece, but I do like hearing people outside our world write about us.
