What the.....?? Somebody buy this and put it out of it's misery. I think I'll get it and have a funeral. This should be a crime.

I saw that last night and cringed! Especially over the told Dymo label tape use for the restaurant name!

Ha Ha! Just noticed the tape! I couldn't look past that day-glo paint. Now all my mugs are going to be from extinct restaurants making them more valueable.

Thank God there is now reserve, one of use might have a chance to get this rare beauty. Ooh! Look at me! I'm making people happy! I'm the magical man from happy land, in a gumdrop house on lollypop laaaane

A little Kutzit stripper will take all that stuff off and make that mug good as new. It is, after all, a glazed ceramic (matte on outside, gloss on inside).

It looks like the previous owner took a little creative license with this mug!!!

To me it looks like the mug just got back from a long weekend in the Castro.

Or this is the result of too many viewings of Marlo Thomas' "Free to be Me..."

The mug has a vital part in the community theater's production of "Last of the Mohicans"?

Tammy Faye mug?

Either way, it's here, it's queer, get used to it!

I say we euthanize it, put this thing out of Tiki misery...just get it out of the gene pool.

midnite (watch it go $55)

Well here's hoping Tigertlily gets it.

He'll have to fight off danlovestikis for this "one of a kind, rare, tiki mug, NM"

They totally gayed it out!

...not that there's anything wrong with that...

Absolutely not! So why not get this curtain to go with the mug? What a beaut!

J

I've seen some examples of good customization of tiki mugs in Taboo: The Art of the Tiki but what the hell is that all about?? Someone please buy that mug and restore it or give it a proper burial!

Then I can only imagine what you think of my extremely "rare" blue Harvey's Sneaky tiki.

I've often wondered how it would fare on ebay.

Funny! I've got an extremely "rare" green Harvey's Sneaky Tiki.

Could be worth a fortune!

Actually I picked up my sneaky tiki in a very low painted condition, and trolled for suggestions on how to fix it.

One of the scarier variations I've seen was an ebay auction for a headhunter mug, that had been "modified" to look like spiderman.

I know where that mug can find a home!
