I hope I'm posting in the right area!
Anyways,I've been collecting Tiki's for um...
about uh...10yrs now.My collection is not as
big as you would think! One of my problems is,
I collect to many things! One day I just dug
on a mask I found at a local thrift and I was
hooked! I'm a bottom feeder collector!LOL!
I like finding Tiki's for next to nothing or
for free! Like I'm sure allot of you do as well.
I do have something new to show you all,I think you
might get a kick out of seeing!I'll post pics of it when I fiqure out how to do it! Anyways,I'm glad I
Stumbled onto this site! Can wait to settle in and dig in if
you know what I mean! Looking forward to talking with
all you Tiki Freaks out there!

Hey there! Welcome to TC.

We love hunting tiki, especially in the thrift stores. So have no fear about being a bottom feeder. Spending a gazillion bucks on an original Shag pales into insignificance when compared to the excitement of finding a dusty tiki relic on an out of sight shelf in a dingy and dark store that smells like your nannas wardrobe.

Heres a link to posting pics:

Thanks Hewey!
Anyways I posted pics in the Gallery of my latest find!
I need to take some time and figure out how to post in
the topics! But go check out this Stone head!
It's 21" inches tall,12" inches wide,7" inches thick!
And weighs about 90 to 100lbs! This thing is super cool...
The lady I got it from said it's been in her yard for about 50years! I'm going back tomorrow {Sat.} to do some-more work
at her house.I'm going to ask her if it was there when she moved in or if they brought it there! Supposedly there is a few more!
So you know I will be on the hunt! When I found this one it was half buried in the ground!I posted three pics,3 different shots. It's sitting on a green table cloth!Go check it
out in the Gallery and let me know what you think? Thanks,TGW....
